jnaropie

"the first day of july...soft rain, strong wind...the usual interpretation of summer. Sitting in the mintroom where every aalfang-sketch goes through each aspect of aural evolution. I was hypnotised by the unsteady rain falling on my velux?. Then the backyard: a distant chime played by wind, children working or playing in an old garden, a women trying to start her car. Someone?s cutting things somewhere. Recording these sources with one hand-held microphone...expecting nothing...getting a lot. The usual way. Recording work was done...now dating the sounds with feedbacks I lured out of an old organ (gelbfeld-reworked) and weeks old manipulated guitar-lines. All in one bed...and here?s the baby: JNAROPIE...which is the ayoreodic term for the realm of the dead; a mirror-image of the real world. Listen to it with wide opened windows...and let your environment remix the songs !"
