The Disquiet Blog wrote about the Free Sound Project and I would like to recommended this. Free Sound Project is a bit like the Flickr Photoblog. You will find an archive of pure field recordings and object sounds, good tagged and searchable. All Sounds under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus License.

Again a new project. The „unterbecken“ project is a little acoustic/visual documentation of one of my favorites places. At the moment in german only :-/.

TANK FX - virtual/natural Reverb Device

TankThat is absolutly amazing!
These guys using a 11 meters high ferroconcrete tank which produce a very fine (as they said 7 sec. long) reverb. Thats not enought! They put on a linux server with some audio software, adjust mics and speakers in the tank and provide an online interface to upload your soundsamples and get the reverbed result.

Window Standpoint Series

A new project similar to the fieldmap of berlin is the french Window Standpoint Series. Artists record their sounds of their standpoint, take a photograph and share it with others.
